for Prints, Gift Items, Dog Show Advertisements and Photo Shoots


  • Prints: Prints (and some limited gift items) are priced individually within their viewing galleries at my SmugMug storefront. From within your gallery, click on the thumbnail of the image you are interested in. On the right is a larger preview (hint: if you'd like an even larger preview, you can click on that one). Above the preview on the right is a button that says "BUY" - if you click that, you'll have a full listing of available prints, sizes, prints on canvas, framed options, gifts and cards with that particular image on it (and more!) including the prices.

    While prices are subject to change, here are some of the more common sizes and their cost to you as of January 1, 2012 (NOTE: fundraiser shoots have slightly lower prices for prints):

    wallets ... $19.95 for a set of 4 (glossy or lustre finish)
    4x6 ... $13.95 (glossy or lustre), $17.95 (metallic)
    5x7 ... $14.95 (glossy or lustre), $18.95 (metallic)
    8x10 ... $21.95 (glossy or lustre), $25.95 (metallic)
    personal use digital image (for your personal web site, email sharing or facebook/social networking ... $20.00
    commercial use digital images:
    - for use on business web sites ... lo-res $24.95
    - for use in a dog show advertisement ... hi-res $48.95 or original-res $149.95 (hi-res will give you a beautiful image!)

    NOTE: no purchase allows you to reprint an image or to use it on your own gift items or greeting cards. Contact the photographer at DogBreedz (at) yahoo (dot) com for these uses.



  • Gift Items: So many great ones to choose from!

  • Dog Show Advertisements: Take your show dog's career to the next level with your advertisements. $65.00/hour with a two-hour minimum. $20.00 to adjust a finished ad to another size for a different publication. If you have had a photoshoot with me, and choose photos from that shoot, there is no charge for the use of those photos (photo charges only apply if someone else does the ad layout). For an ad like the one to the right, this equals a savings of $391.60!

    Photo Shoots

    Mini Sessions, Private Shoots, Group Shoots, Agility Shoots, Dog Show Shoots/Ringside Candids, Fundraiser Shoots


  • The Mini-Shoot - ($35.00 on location in Santee, CA) includes a mini 15-minute session at my studio set-up at Su-Et's Kennel in Santee (10 per additional person or animal, must be from same family/household) with full studio lighting- available with seasonal sets and/or solid backdrops (one backdrop choice for this shoot). You will get a print credit to help you purchase prints from the shoot (print credit will pay for one 5x7 print, or apply it to any other sizes). Your photos will be in a public gallery on my photo site for any additional prints/gift items you might want to purchase.

  • Private Shoots - 4 options available:
    Option #1 - The Basic Package Private Shoot ($150.00 in SD or Orange Counties*) includes up to two hours of shoot time at your home (or at a public location of your choosing) for up to two animals ($10 per additional animal, must be from same family/household) with my mobile lighting. One hour is usually enough, but some pets will need to get used to me first or want more breaks during the shooting. You will get a $32.00 print credit to help you purchase prints from the shoot. Your photos will be in a private gallery on my photo site for any additional prints/gift items you might want to purchase.
    Option #2 - The Deluxe Package Private Shoot ($240.00 in SD or Orange Counties*) includes up to two hours shoot time for up to two animals ($10 per additional animal, must be from same family/household) with the full studio lighting/backdrop set up at your home or at my Santee studio. This includes a $48.00 print credit. Your photos will be in a private gallery on my photo site for any additional prints/gift items you might want to purchase.
    Option #3 - The Premiere Pet Package Shoot ($2500.00 - any US location, no travel fees) - Your pet is the star for this Premiere two-day shoot! Two 8 hour days of shooting in a row, with the DogBreedz photographer being your personal pup-arazzi, capturing your pet (up to two animals - $10 per additional animal, must be from same family/household) documentary-style. You may include the studio lighting/backdrop set up on request at no additional charge. This Package includes a $150 print credit, up to two Custom Metal Vanity Signs (one per pet, up to 2 total), and a custom hard cover coffee-table book. Great package for performance dogs, too! $1000 non-refundable retainer due one month before shoot date.

    Option #4 - The Smile for a Cure Package ($125.00 in San Diego County) includes up to two hours of shoot time at your home (or at a public location of your choosing) for up to two animals ($10 per additional animal, must be from same family/household) with my mobile lighting. One hour is usually enough, but some pets will need to get used to me first or want more breaks during the shooting. Your sitting fee is paid directly to the     National Canine Cancer Foundation to support Canine Cancer research! There are no print credits for this Shoot Option, but you do get a 20% off credit on photo orders of $100 or more. Your photos will be in a private gallery on my photo site for any additional prints/gift items you might want to purchase.


    *for Private Shoot Options #1 & 2 - outside of San Diego or Orange Counties, add $40.00 travel fee, unless I am already in the area for another shoot.

  • Group Shoots: Add an unusual attraction to your next party or book a shoot to attract more customers to your business! There is a $35.00 per dog sitting fee and each dog's owner will receive one 5x7 photo from the shoot. The photos will be in galleries on my photo site for any additional prints your guests might want to purchase. If electricity and space is available then I will provide my full studio lighting setup. If setting up outside at a park or picnic with no electricity, then I will provide my "mobile studio" under a canopy.
  • Agility Shoots: If you are looking for an agility photographer for your trial or fun-match, I am available! Contact me for more details (contact button at bottom of page). Your event photos will be in a gallery on my photo site for any prints participants might want to purchase.

  • Dog Show Shoots/Ringside Candids: I am available for ringside photography at shows around CA. There is never any obligation to purchase prints - only buy if you like them! Regular Ringside Shooting: - No Charge. Shoot me an email (contact button at bottom of page) with your breed & dog's name and name/date of the show you are exhibiting in and I'll do my best to get some great shots of your dog. There is no guarantee that I will be able to be at your breed's classes, but I will do my best to work it into my schedule. Regular Ringside Candids are available online within 7-10 days from end of show weekend and don't include any free images. Priority Ringside Shooting: $25.00 for first breed/variety, $10 each additional breed/variety (per owner). Send me an email with your breed & dog's name/color and the name/date of the show you are exhibiting in. As soon as the judging schedules are posted I will know if I am clear of any conflict to concentrate on your ringside request. At that time your Priority fee is due (via paypal or charge/debit card). Priority Ringside Candids are available online within 3 days from the end of the show weekend PLUS you receive a 5x7 and a web-quality digital of your an image of your choosing. Priority Fees will be refunded in full if I am not able to get to your ring for any reason, or for equipment failure. Priority Fees are non-refundable for any other reason! At this time I do not accept Priority Reservations for Group judging for Best in Show judging, although I will try to be ringside at those times if your dog continues for the day. I do not recommend Priority Ringside reservations for black dogs at indoor shows - stick with Regular Ringside requests for those. Private shoots at a show location are $125.00 per dog for up to one hour of time (no print credits or digitals are included in this price).

  • Fundraiser Shoots: I am a strong supporter of non-profits in my community. If you have a 501(c)(3) non-profit (it doesn't have to be animal oriented) I am available for a pet portrait fundraiser. I handle all reservations and your guests' sitting fees are split: $15 to photographer, the rest I donate to your organization (payments made the day of the shoot). Each pet owner will receive a print credit that will pay for one 8x10 print (including shipping). The photos will be in galleries on my photo site for any additional prints your guests might want to purchase. If electricity and space is available then I will provide my full studio lighting setup. If setting up outside at a park or picnic with no electricity, then I will provide my "mobile studio" under a canopy.
